Every app store enforces exact image dimensions, and getting even one wrong triggers a rejected upload — Apple errors with "The app icon must be 1024x1024 pixels," Google Play silently rejects a feature graphic with the wrong aspect ratio, and Microsoft Store expects its own separate tile sizes entirely. Do I need to upload a different image for every asset?
What is the difference between Cover and Contain fit mode?
Cover fills the entire target size, cropping excess. Contain fits the whole image without cropping, padding empty space with your background color — better for logos that must not be cropped.
Why do some assets require no transparency?
Apple's app icon and Google Play's feature graphic both reject alpha transparency and will fail submission if present. This tool automatically flattens transparency to your chosen background color where required.
Will these sizes still be correct next year?
Requirements do change — Apple especially adds new sizes almost yearly. These specs are verified as of September 2026; always cross-check the official links before final submission.
